Big XII Recap (2/27 - 3/04)

Kansas played for their lives on Saturday versus the spoiler Oklahoma State. They were down by more than two possessions with time ticking down on what may have been the most-needed win of their season. They got it though. They have a chance of being co-champions with Texas Tech or/and Kansas State, but very doubtful. Their 14 regular season conference titles may be closing out on them. Meanwhile, Texas Tech and Kansas State will probably be co-champions unless one of them gets upset. They will battle on opposite sides of the bracket most likely on their road for the Big XII title. Tiebreakers will be confusing. Texas Tech split the series vs Kansas State. Texas Tech, Kansas State, and Kansas all went 2-2 against each other (each team split the series with the other teams). That will be a fun ride down the stretch. Despite, Texas Tech is looking unstoppable though. Baylor is another team that can make a run. Iowa State still has a legitimate chance. All the other teams are basically playing spoiler until the Big XII tournament.

The A-Sun tournament started which signals the regular season is ending for most teams. The Big XII had some momentum-shifting games. The big highlight was that Kansas got their revenge over rival Kansas State in the Sunflower Showdown. The Kansas State Wildcats still hold first place.

So we will start by recapping the Big XII and scores of the past week. Then, we will make evaluations and look forward to next week!
