Kansas State split their week, winning one of two. Unfortunately for them, Kansas and Texas Tech won both of their games this week. Kansas State now leads the conference by .5 game. Diarra has been on a hot streak last week, although. Iowa State only played one game and got their revenge on Kansas State. Iowa State lost to K-State in Ames but defeated the Wildcats in Manhattan. Baylor didn't have the best week but didn't have the worst week. They trail the Big XII leader by two games. They were no match to Texas Tech on Saturday. Texas rounds up all the teams over .500 in conference play. They got a key win over Oklahoma State. On the downside, they dropped a Kansas State game in which the Longhorns had a lead for more than half the game.

Oklahoma and TCU clashed on Saturday in a must-win game for both squads later down the stretch for the postseason. Oklahoma was playing with fire on the bubble. TCU had some room (but not much) for error. Oklahoma prevailed due to a 50.0% FG shooting vs TCU's 35.4%. Both teams had way too many turnovers in the game. Oklahoma State and West Virginia had a losing week and both are sailing at 2-10 in the conference.

For next week, Kansas State draws an easier week. They better make the most of it or else it could affect them come the NCAA Tournament
